techniques/philosophy: My philosophy is quite basic. First, know who and what you are, accept yourself, and know that you can survive and be OK with yourself, regardless of whether or not you have a partner. That knowledge will give you a very different basis on which to make decisions about having people in your life than will reaching out from need. For me, healthy sexual relationships are based on mutual consent, courtesy, respect, responsibility, honesty and desire. The rest follows from there. | I can take an eclectic approach to sex therapy and counseling, gearing my approach to the needs of my client. |
